The friends I had recently made through dancing were buzzing with the joy and depth of the experience and I was really sorry I had missed out. This book is a MUST read for anyone touched by The Dance. Some of the other First Generation people I would include here are Anna Barton, Fiona Parr, Colin Harrison, David Roberts, Errol Weiner and Janet Scott. She also offers profound insights into the role of movement and dance as an important tool in our evolution. She has a wonderfully sunny personality and radiates a youthful energy which belies her years.I had only been teaching for a few months, so very soon after, I found the opportunity to go and dance with June on a teacher training weekend that she was offering in Stroud.June’s journey however, is a delight to read and she gives us much food for thought. In 2007 I started a new local group in Ashurst, New Forest and I also share a group in Winchester.Together we have dance holidays and I attend workshops with as many different teachers as I can.I also knew that this was something I wanted to teach and share with others. Then in 2004 I took over the Southampton Circle Dance group when Editha retired. Then took up Ballroom and Latin American dancing from 13.An Irish Tipple was my first choreography, which is now known and loved all over the circle dance world.Later we learnt Scottish Country Dancing and Salsa and then in January 2002 I found Circle Dancing.I studied Ballet from the age of 3 until 11.I am very grateful that Mike shares my passion for dancing and supports my teaching.I appeared on Come Dancing in 1965 as part of a Ballroom formation team and.I thought it would be fun to make a new dance to take along
